If you will not be at practice tomorrow, and you know you are unable to attend on Saturday, please email JulieDolhun@comcast.net the names of your swimmer(s) and we will add them to the list.

Time Trials Schedule
Warm-up - 8:00am
Check-In - 8:15am
Start-Time - 8:30am
We want to encourage all families to get into the habit of following our Weekly Sign Out Procedure (step 1 of meet check-in procedure & warm-up). This process helps ensure a successful, less stressful, meet each Saturday.
This only applies to families that have a swimmer(s) that will NOT be in attendance at a Saturday meet. NOTICE who you contact on which days and by what time:

* Sign Out on bulletin board at the pool by Tuesday 7:00pm

(End of last practice of the day, handbook says 11:00am, should be 7:00pm for current practice schedule, will change Monday, June 9)

The final two pieces of the coaching puzzle have been added for the 2008 swim season. This year we will have not one but two assistant coaches. We would like to welcome the new Racer Assistant Coaches - Haley Fair and Chase Dixon. Haley brings with her lots of enthusiasm and has worked with head coach Bryan the past few years at Cypresswood. Chase is a former Racer and brings a knowledge of our team/community and swimming experience. The swim board is very excited about this group of coaches and hopes this will be the best season the Racers have ever had.
Registration has passed but it's not too late to join the Racers. It's a New Season with New Coaches and a New Attitude! For the first time in club history Non-Raveneaux members will be allowed to join the team. Hopefully this will increase our numbers allowing for greater participation in relays and ultimately more fun for the kids and a more competitive swim team. So if you have friends from school who have never joined the team but always wanted to, now is the chance for them to join you on the team. The Raveneaux Racers website and team emails will be the primary means to communicate information to swimmers and their families. The bulletin boards on the wall facing the pool area are also for swim team information. Please check them weekly throughout the season for valuable information regarding changes in practice schedules, meet information, and announcements about special events. It is up to you to keep yourself informed. Swimmers are not usually the best at relaying information to their parents! Please check the website!!! The 2008 Raveneaux Racer team swimsuit can be purchased at registration from D & J Sports or you can visit their location at 11407 Spring Cypress Road. Tell them you are a Raveneaux Racer, and they will direct you to the proper suit. Girls must wear a one-piece, racing style suit for all swim team activities. Boys may wear either the racing suit or jammers (longer suit which comes just above the knees). These are the same design worn last year.
